HI, I'M MIKE
AND I RUN
I USED TO RUN FAST(ISH)
NOW I RUN FOR ENJOYMENT
WHY I RUN
I like to run. I find it fulfilling and my body feels good doing it.
I hope to run for the rest of my life, so I'm taking it slower since I turned 50.
My goal nowadays is longevity, not speed. The good old days (4:41 mile, 2:58 marathon) are well behind me.
Today I want to make friends, see new sights, and experience the world through running.
In 2019, I ran 323 miles -- unassisted -- across Washington State over 13 days.
In 2021, I ran the New York City Marathon and helped fundraise $24,125 for Camp Korey through the extreme generosity of industry colleagues and friends.
